Rental rules and lease ; can more than one agent service the owner?

Hi,
Whether rent or sale, every owner has the right to appoint more than one agent to serve her. Unless she has signed an exclusive with that specific agent to handle her property for her. Do consider the pro and cons of having more than one agent and only with an appointed sole agent. That makes a great different.
