Me and my wife are SPR and we apply a BTO together with my father who is SC. The three of us are the applicants when applying for the BTO flat. Me and my wife are the one paying for the house and my father is unemployed. Say my father had a gambling habit, can he sell away our house without our consent? Or anything that force to throw us out of the house as he is SC? Advice is much appreciated! Thanks

Morning,

Single and SPR cannot apply for BTO, hence your father, you and your wife applied the unit as a family nucleus. Even though only both of you are paying for the unit, your father have an equal share of the unit, just as both of you. Thus your father have no legal nor financial ability to sell / force both of you out of the unit. With the math done, your father would know that it doesn't do him much good anyway.
