Hi,
1) I understand your frustration when this happened.
2) We also try to remind the seller to vacant the unit during handover, but there is just so much we can do.
3) I suggest you get help from the town council. 3 bulky items per month are FOC, except for some super bulky items such as:
Removal of bulky items prior to house-moving
Removal of renovation debris
Removal of built-in fixtures such as false ceilings, kitchen cabinets, etc
Removal of large furniture and items such as 3-door wardrobes, 4-feet cabinets, pianos, safes, etc
4) Some town councils offer a maximum of up to 5 bulky items, 1st 3 are free and the next 2 are at $5/pc. If your town council only provides 3 items removal service, you may pay the worker to assist in other items at your own expense.
5) You may call up or email your town council and enquire. They could also come in to shift it out from your flat if there are people on the premises.
6) Alternatively is to negotiate with your renovation contractor to move these items.
Hope the above answer your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at
