I'm looking to buy a condo in the AMK/Bishan/Serangoon/Thomson area to live in. Preferences: 3 bedroom, full facilities, mid to high floor, peace and quiet, near mrt, no afternoon sun. Budget: +-$1m. Appreciate advise on the following:
1. is this still a good time to buy? prices already risen. before this, people have said that prices would dip further in the 2nd half of this year. instead it has gone up. will it fall next year? given that many units TOP-ing next year.
2. what are the considerations as to whether to buy 99yr leasehold or freehold?
