I would like to learn more about buying a condo in singapore especially the downpayment. I'm a PR and my wife is a Singaporean and we have ~$200k in our CPF combined. For the past 4 years, we have been living out of Singapore. The HDB flat we had was sold before we left. Now we are looking to coming back to Sgp. I own foreign properties so I believe I no longer entitled for 80% loan. My wife is currently a housewife and does not have a property under her name. She plans to find a job when we are back in Sgp.
1) Are we still entitled to have the 80% bank loan with joint names? As I do not believe that with just her salary alone, it will not be enough.
2) Are there alternate ways to get the 80% bank loan with joint names? Selling my other properties is not an option.
