I would like to enquire. If I'm a single above 35 and wanting to own a HDB flat. And having a boyfriend who is a co-owner of a landed property here. Will either of us have to give up our unit if we intend to get married one day? due to the policy that husband and wife is consider as a unit. Or can we still keep our houses?

Afternoon,

With your current age, you can choose to buy the resale unit, under your own name, depending on your current drawn salary.
As for your bf, who happens to be the co-owner of a landed property, he would have to remove his name from it, if you were to buy a unit together with him.
