Hi,

Do you mean new EC or resale EC after 5 years MOP? If the former, its not possible. If the latter, yes its possible to get another resale EC but you will need to pay ABSD of 17%.

Initially we have decided to try to write to HDB for early sale but since it was only 3 months left, eventually we waited for another 3 months while we looked for our next property. You bought a new EC or resale EC within MOP or resale EC after MOP?

If you bought a new EC or resale EC within MOP, you have to fulfill your MOP first before you can buy a RESALE EC.

If you wish to buy a new EC for a second time, you need to dispose off first and observe 30 months waiting period before you can apply again. Do take note of the resale levy applicable if you are eligible.

If you bought a resale EC after MOP, you can buy another resale after MOP cause both are treated as private property.

If you bought a resale EC after MOP and will like to buy a new EC, as per shared earlier:
