I recently got converted to Singaporean and is currently staying in a HDB with my parents in Singapore. Both my parents are Singapore PR. I would like to help my mother apply for Singapore Citizenship but my parents have properties in Malaysia under both their names. I would like to know is there anything my mother need to do if I want to help her apply for Singaporean Citizenship ?

Hi,

I guess you want to know whether your mother needs to dispose of her properties in Malaysia upon conversion to Singapore Citizen.
As far as I know, there is no restriction on owning a foreign property to a Singapore Citizen. In fact, there are many Singapore Citizen went to buy overseas property to save up on stamp duty.
