I recently completed a transaction for a 3-room Resale Flat with my parents as the co-owners without any grants.
As I am currently in a relationship, I am trying to plan for the next flat with my wife-to-be. Have some queries on transferring the flat.
My mother and I are listed as co-owners, what would be the rules if i were to remove my name from the house (assuming the flat will be fully paid up say within 4 years)?
Can I delete my name off the flat within the 5 years MOP period, and will i be subject to any other restrictions should i seek to purchase either a subsidised flat/EC from HDB, or from the re-sale market for a HDB flat within this 5 year period? I.e. Am i entitled to grants such as First-Time Buyer if i purchase a new or resale flat with my wife?
If so, at which point must i relinquish ownership / transfer the house to my parents? At booking of new flat, TOP or hand-over of the flat?
