Kudos to you. You are right that prices in the north are lower in general as compared to the east, but they are catching up pretty fast. Being lower in quantum, it definitely attracts a fair bit of buyers who do not have deep pockets to switch their attention to the area. With more demand in the area, prices should go northwards in general.

I believe you have being doing your homework. HDB prices are on the rise. Units in Woodlands which are priced at lower quantum makes it better for those who simply love Woodlands. With the upcoming Thomson Line, certain sector of Woodlands will definately get more appreciation. Hence coming into the market at this time might be just right.
