i have intention of selling my existing 3rm flat and do a upgrade.
if i have intention of getting a EC(the baungkok one looks nice n affordable),do i still need to pay a levy to HDB? Cos i understand if i get my 2nd home from HDB i need to 'vomit' out the sales levy when i sell my 1st one.
What is the procedues like?i am new to all these buying n selling.
pls advise me.thank u

Hi Low Panda;

If your first HDB was bought direct from HDB and you are keen in buying an EC direct from developer,you are NOT required to pay resale levy.You only need to pay the resale levy when you sell your EC and purchase a BTO unit.If you sell your EC and purchase any other unit besides BTO,you are not required to pay the resale levy as well.I have the floorplan of the projects,please advise your email address so i can forward a copy to you.Please contact me if you have any other queries or if you would like to register for the launching of Esparina Residence.Thanks..
