I have bought an uncomplete mm apartment, how much do I need to have (CPF/Cash) inorder to be able to hold till 4 yrs later as I'm affected by the SSD.
1) Purchase Price around - $610K
2) Loan amount around - $488K (20 yrs)
3) Interest rate - 3M SIBOR + 0.75% throughout (No lock-in period).
4) TOP - End 2015

Hi Discusz,

Do you mean that you had not done any detailed financial planning prior to committing to this purchase?

I believe that a professional banker will be in a better position to assist in your situation. Call up the bank which you have taken up the loan from and request for them to work out the sums with you.

    Thank you. The banker has given me an estimated table and we worked out ourselves but not sure whether is it enough, we have around $150K cash + 50K CPF to hold for 5 yrs.
