I have a 4 room HDB fully paid and stayed more than 5 yrs. I AM NOT Working and i intend to rent out my flat after i successfully bought a condo. but i have only enough cash to pay 20% for a 800K condo. Am i able to get bank loan of 80% successfully? will most banks give this loan/reject, given my case? pls advise. thanks.

Morning Ong,

It's good to have your IPA from banker before you proceed to buy a condo.
I can get my mobile banker to give you a call if you want to.

Afternoon Ong,

Given your current condition, it would be prudent to check with the banker, for a firm answer. Though to my knowledge, there's a high chance your loan would not go through. But you won't know till you try it.

Hi Ong,

I cannot fully advise on your case as i do not fully understand your situation. However, I have recently deal for my client where they manage to get a loan based on Asset based lending. They are currently also not working and in quite a similar situation to what you are facing.
