I bought my 4A HDB from the open market last year July. with no HDB grant. I really wish to rent it out to live closer to my father's house as he will be looking after our small child who has been frequently ill. We are working parents. Place also is walking distance from school we intend to put her in. what are the chances HDB will approve rental during MOP?

No harm giving it a shot. But it would be good to attach in your son's medical report to make things more transparent to HDB.
