I am having a hard time finding a buyer for my landed property in Orchard. It has been 6 months. Back then, 15 years ago, I had 7 landed properties in Holland and 2 condominium units in Sentosa and they were easily sold. Is the property market in Singapore still strong?

Hi,

I believe the sheer quantum is the key reason why it is taking some time for your landed property in Orchard to sell.

In today's market whereby there are lots of "rules in place", it is not as easy to get financing as compared to 15 years ago where financing is much easily available. Coupled with the many rounds of "cooling measures", it is not everyday you can find a qualified buyer who's willing to pay for your property.

Nevertheless, don't be despair. I believe with the right marketing strategy targeting the right target audience, you should be able to find the right Buyer who's willing to pay the right Price for your property.

May I ask what is currently your marketing tools that you are engaging? Are you drawing the right crowd to view the property? Or are most of them just shoppers? Are the marketing strategies used effective? And how best and where can you improve on?
