I am a foreigner and want to buy a 2-3 bedroom condo(new or resale) in the East Coast as an investment. I will rent it out. I am interested in a long term capital preservation/appreciation, rather than yield. What kind of budget am I looking at here?

Hi Goluba,

I'd say a typical 2 bedrooms apartment along East Coast area will set you back by around $1m range. My suggestion is for you do assess your financial capacity with a qualified banker now and who knows you maybe able to get something even better and more attractive.
