If you're a Singaporean, you will need to set aside minimum of
40% of the purchase price. Hence a $700k condo, you would need to prepare $280k in downpayment and stamp duties. That is assuming you can qualify for 75% loan, which works out to be $525,000.

Loan assessment is based on TDSR, with your age, income and liabilities as the main criteria.

A detailed calculation considering current calculations, your cpf savings are needed to assess your eligibility besides your pay alone.
