Hle approved $336500 wife cpf around $70k and mine around $7k but cpf refund after selling off my unit will be around $88k. So must I use bridging loan from bank if I buy a resale unit that cost more than the available Hle and current cpf available but before the cpf refund after sales? Also is the bridging loan be paid using the refunded cpf after sales?Hope anyone can advise me on this matter. Thanks.

Evening Hairudin,

If the sales of your current unit yield positive return, you can apply for bridging loan on the difference. However, you will only be granted to nothing more than your physical cash proceed plus CPF OA return, subjected to bank review and approval.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Mr Yusof,

Seems like you are selling or sold your HDB flat. THese concerns should be addressed by your agent and not leaving in a lurch to do the calculation alone!

Do look for a competent agent to help you through these.

Hi, you definitely can purchase more than the approved loan amount. But bridging loan only apply to limited cases. I can share more details and explain the financial work out with you.

I can be reachable at my mobile or email.
