HI..Can someone please advice. My rented my unit for $2000 a month and my tenant has a grace period of 7 days to pay their rental. However last month, my tenant had paid us $1700 and the balance was paid on the 8th days. Have the breached the contract? I'm so confused. Please help

yes.. technically and legally yes if there is proof...

probably you can communicate to find out more???
give them your concern about this issue of lateness also...

Rental has been paid. Since you have had this experience, for the next payment, remind and follow up with the tenant closely.
