Hi , will more BTO for 2nd timer upgrader cause more resale flat to release to market and eventually brought down resale price and rental? It is best to sell my flat within this 2 years before more upgraded sell their flat?

Dear Sw,

It is indeed an important issue to look at the value of our property now. Nevertheless, the concern will only be valid should the owner has more than 1 property, where 1 of them is for investment purpose. If the property you are holding on to is meant for self occupation, I am afraid it will make not much sense to sell and buy since when you sell high, you will also buy high and vice versa. Nevertheless, if you think that existing unit you are holding on to is a surplus in terms of build in size and thinking of downgrading, perhaps you may wish to discuss further.
