Hi, we are singaporean with parents in China. If they stay in singapore on long time social visit pass, they can buy any type of private property, correct? any restriction?

Hi,

The pte property that foreigners are allow to buy are condominium/apartment or landed in Sentosa.
Please do aware of the new ABSD being implemented which add up the stamp fee f 13% for the purchase.

Hi B_ing,

I have similar situation here. Theoritically, if you are SG citizen, you are able to apply SG PR for your parents (although I am not sure about the sucessful rate, but worth a try).

At this moment, ABSD applied if your parents want to invest in private residential property.
