Hi,
The property I rented out to a couple and a child who has moved in recently and not long after encountered water leaking from the ceiling of master bedroom bathroom. The management has already taken picture, videos of the leaking ceiling and tried contacting the upper floor unit owners to help solve the waterproofing issue. Neither the local owners or their tenants can be found or respond to our pleas as they know that as long as tenants not staying (for time being)or using bathroom, no water could leak from there. However, the issue is still outstanding n my tenants are always on high alert, stressed out as to when the next round of leaks would occur! Now, as owner of my unit, what else could I do in order to solve this problem.
The MCST has declared that they are just assisting us to contact owners of upper floor but is not responsible to deal with it; also refusing to give contacts and details of the other owners citing PDPA rules. I can't even contact them directly to discuss about the repair issue. Please advice.... Thank You

Hi,

Perhaps you could also slot some info of yours under their main door and hopefully the owner or the new tenant would spot it and they would be contacting you soon.
