My wife and I want to sell our 5 room flat,it's already MOP.We want to sell our flat first then buy an EC unit.I was wondering if there are any agents out there who has helped hdb upgraders,with total income of 5K similar like us.we are debt free.Possible to get a 3 bedroom a new ec unit from developer?

The most important 2 factors that we need to look at here will be the bank loan portion. We need to ascertain the amount of loan amount that both yourself and your wife is eligible to loan for. The second factor will be to do a calculation to estimate the sales proceeds that you will have. With this, then I can have a simple financial planning for you. If the sales proceeds is good, then I think it should not be a problem. Definitely for myself, I have helped many clients upgrade from HDB to private condos and ECs.
