Just to share that Tampines is in the East (almost the end of east) while your office is in the south and I am puzzled why are you looking in the west?
If you wish to let your kids commute easily to school, you can consider condos in tampines or even Pasir Ris. If you are looking at landed, there are options in Pasir Ris as well.
By the way as I mentioned tampines is almost towards end of east, you can commute by driving to your office if not by train could take up to 30 mins thereabout.
Hope my sharing aids in clearing your doubts.
