In fact, PR buying first property in singapore is only subject to the usual 3% buyer's stamp duty - $5400.

Additional buyer's stamp duty of 3% only applies from second property onwards.

Dont worried if any exorbitant buyer's stamp duty applies to you. Rest assured.

Ms Wily, As this is your first property in Singapore the buyer stamp duty formula is as below:

3% of Purchase Price - $5400.
Eg: Stamp duty for a 1m property is $24,600

If you are NOT a PR, than another 10% applies.
