Hi, I'm single, 46. I bought a 4-room flat 5 yrs ago with my late mum. Now, my unit is almost matured and I intend to sell it. I wish to get a bigger flat because, I want a bigger and spacious apartment. I am thinking of getting a 5 room flat or if possible bigger. Will I still be eligible for the single grant? Please note that the current flat I am staying, was bought direct from HDB. Thank you for for answering my queries.

Afternoon,

As you have purchased the current flat from HDB, you are not eligible to single grant.
Upon the MOP of your current unit, you are eligible to sell it off in the resale market, but you must have the Death Certificate.
You are eligible for purchase of 5 room flat, inthe resale market. But you need to work on how much loan you need and which financial institues to obtain your mortgage loan from.
