Hi AT,

If you are a foreigner, then you "need not pay SSD when (you) have to sell (your) residential properties as required under the Residential Properties Act". (source: IRAS)

I can provide more information if you are interested. Are you currently selling your property? May I help?

Thank you Jonathon for providing the information and your offer to help. Actullay I am on Employment pass and in the process of buying a property in singapore i.e. a private Condo . I understand there is a seller's stamp duty imposed on selling properties in singapore before 3 years. I wanted to be sure if I sell the property before 3 years and go back to my home country before 3 years will there be stamp duty liability for me or will i be exempted. What are the other exemptions to seller stamp duty i.e. if one less at loss or at the same price will the seller 's stamp duty still apply .
I will approach you if I need help to buy .
