Hi, I stay in Toa Payoh Lorong 2, HDB 5 rooms, less than 3 mins to the MRT station. If i managed to sell my flat at $750K, i will get back $610K, can I buy a condo with budget $1M, 3 bedrooms, in nearby areas? I do not wish to move to outskirts like pasir ris, woodlands, jurong. Our household income is 10K and the only liability is car instalment which is less than $700/mth, what's the loan amt we can get?

Afternoon,

The 3 bedroom projects that is selling around TPY and AMK area are going at $1.1m and above. There only project that's going at below $1m, is Green Castle, at YCK Rd.
It would be good to sit down and work out a plan, with the experienced, prior jumping into it.

There are several projects around TPY area which my fellow agents have mentioned and it will very much depend on what is your expectation for the unit you wish to purhase.

Judging from the financial profile you have provided, I would say that you should be able to buy properties with a $1m price tag, however, my suggestion is to talk to a few bankers to determine how much loan are you able to undertake before venturing any further as they are the most qualified professionals to advise you in terms of financial issues.
