Only residential properties in Singapore are included in the property count which is used to determine ABSD liability. As this is your first residential property in Singapore, ABSD is not payable.

However, if you are buying a brand New EC from HDB, then you need to disposed the pte pty within 6 mths of collection of keys.

You might want to consider buying a resales EC or pte apt.

Morning Alvin,

ABSD payable are applicable for buyers would are buying property within Singapore. If you are foreigner, you will be liable for 15% ABSD for every property that you purchase here. But if you are SC, your first property will not require payment of ABSD.
