Hi.
I had rented an hdb for an year and extended it for another year. The agreement says that my last day is December 31. However due to a change in my office location from west to east end, I am planning to shift to east. My question is , how do I terminate my present rental agreement. Landlord has an agent so I know I have to pay the agent fee pro rated and I am also giving one month notice. Is there any other charge applicable?

In the first place, you must ensure that your existing lease agreement allows premature termination. If the lease agreement does not allow that to happen, you will be liable to fulfill the entire lease period, or pay rent for whatever period that is not fulfilled.
