Hi,

If a EC project has not reaches its MOP yet, then I’m afraid a single SPR cannot purchase it, even with an appeal letter to the HDB and chances of it will be very slim.

I regret to inform you that as a single SPR, you do not form an eligible family nucleus to purchase a "subsidized housing", which is the resale EC where the first owners had not met their MOP.

You may wish to consider slightly older ECs where the first owners had met the MOP.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Resale EC under MOP is classified in the same category as brand new EC and therefore it is almost impossible to get a waiver to purchase as a single SPR. You may wish to take a look at some value for money private condos instead?

Hi,

1) I'm afraid the chance of success is very slim.
2) Even though the eligible buyers will still need to meet a lot of stringent requirements to purchase an EC under MOP, but because the supply is lower than the demand. It is still very popular with SC families.
3) Therefore the seller usually will not have difficulties selling their EC within the given timeline.
4) I would suggest you either wait till this EC meets the MOP or consider other private development. This will be more feasible than trying to appeal.

Hi there,

I'm afraid a single PR will not be able eligible to buy a resale EC, and HDB is unlikely to approve the appeal. However, you might like to consider ECs that have already met their MOP instead. If you'd like a list of recommendations I'd be happy to find the perfect place for you.

    Hi thanks for the reply, kindly let me know ECs thanks hi hi already mop but not too old, may be bukit after 2005. Only looking at 2 bedder(any size) budget $750 maximum go till $800, pls let me know thanks
