Hi, certainly you are eligible to buy a private property in Singapore. With regards to bank loan, if you have no other bank loan in Singapore and has good regular income, the bank should be able to grant 70% of loan. 80% loan quantum will depend on bank assessment. Hi S Menon,

Yes, foreigners are allowed to buy private condo/apartment in Singapore. Generally, the areas that give the best rental yield are at D9/D10 and D11. However, I thought that new condo in the North-East of Singapore could also be a good investment.

Some banks do give up to 80% loan to foreigners, but it does depend on individual assessment. I can help to arrange a few bankers from different bank to help you on this matter.
