Good evening, If the second property is bought solely under your name, it will be 7% while under both names, it will be 10% (based on your wife's SPR status - higher of 7% and 10%). If you need any assistance in your property purchase, feel free to contact me. Maybe let my bankers to advise you on your in principle loan first then we will work things out from there. Cheers! Hi, in your case, suggest is better you buy the condo under your own name. As 2nd property, your stamp duty will be 10% - $5,400. Assuming the condo is at $1M, the stamp duty will be $94,600. You can keep your HDB and apply for HDB rental approval. I would be glad to help you to search your next dream house. Best Regards, J.A.Goh, HP: 96390350  , Email: gohja@singnet.com.sg Read More
