Hi, I am 26 yrs old, singaporean and would like to know if i can own a property by myself in singapore? If possible, what are the alternatives for getting a housing loan and any maximum capped for the loan borrowed by myself?

To answer your question of owning a property in Singapore, if you are referring to HDB, there are different schemes available to purchase. You may refer to the link below for more understanding.

If you are referring to owning a private property, you are definitely eligible, however, you will need to talk to a professional banker who will assess your existing financial situation to determine the housing loan available.

    Thanks Geryl for the details. My next question is if i alrdy own a HDB with my wife and i have an intention to get a private property, can i still get one under the new property/HDB ruling?
