Hi Gurus, My wife and I are Malaysian, holding Singapore PR status and bought a HDB flat 3 years ago at Tampines Area. Would like to know if i am allowed to buy any property in Malaysia? If i buy the property in Malaysia, does this affect our PR status in Singapore during renewal? Pls advise.

Afternoon Lum,

PR who purchase HDB unit in 2008 would have fulfilled the MOP.
Hence you are eligible to purchase private properties, in and out of Singapore.
