Dear sir/madam,

To be honest, there is not too much difference between a brand new BTO unit or a resale unit. It very much depends on individual's requirements. Getting a resale unit will likely require more upfront cash and CPF available, but what you do get is to see the physical unit itself to make a decision to purchase, whereas getting a BTO unit, you are likely to wait for at least a few years and you are making a decision to purhcase on paper through it's floor and site plan, but you will be the 1st owner to this unit.

There is no better option but rather which option suits you better.
