Hi Guru, I'm SPR and currently own a HDB flat. I bought the house since 1998. I would like to ask, currently, as a SPR, can I buy another private property at oversea? Is it illegal for SPR to own a Hdb flat and oversea private property concurrently?

Afternoon,

With the current ruling, upon fulfilling your MOP, you are eligible to purchase private properties, be it locally or overseas, and yet keep your HDB unit.
