Hi Guru,

I would like to ask 2 question below.

I am Singaporen(35) and my wife is Malaysian. She is working here and holding S pass.I tried to apply PR for her but it rejected.Understand that i not able to purchase a new bto and dbss under single scheme.

1.Since my wife is holding S pass now.Can i purchase a re-sale hdb under single scheme?

2.If we purchase a re-sale HDB and after 3-4year can bid the bto or dbss (under 1 singapore and 1 PR scheme)if there and charge or levy need to pay?
Of course when we collect the new hdb we will sell the current hdb and will meet the 5 year.

Thanks.

Evening Zen,

You can purchase resale unit with your wife, under non-citizen spouse scheme. You will be the owner, with your wife as the essential occupier and her work pass must have at least a validity of 6 month.
If you purchase the resale unit with grant, you will be required to pay levy for the new BTO which you are going to purchase in the future.

Hope I have cleared your doubts.
