Hello,
I have been in Singapore since 1 year on EP. I am interested to invest in a ready made 1 Bedroom condo unit and immediately give it on rent.
(1) Is it a good time to do so or should I hold on for another 6 months for condo rates to depreciate further?
(2) Which area could give better returns in the long term- West (Jurong-Bukit Batok side) or North (Buangkok- Yishun side)

Hi Riz,

Key issue is how much do you intend to invest into this property which you intend to purchase and how long do you intend to hold on to the property.

Drop me an email for further discussion.

Hi Riz,

1) In term property investment, there is no perfect time to buy or sell. Nobody can guarantee that condo will deprecate in 6 months time. Therefore, you should come into the market as long as you get the right unit at right price.

2) Usually project that fetch in rental yield are in D9/D10/D11 and some sea facing unit at D15. I thought there will not much different in the West or North area that you had mentioned. Most importantly is to get a project near amenities and transport facilities. Usually project in these can fetch better rental yield and appreciation in the long run.

Hope I had answered all your questions.

Feel free to contact should you need any further assistance.
