Hi
Yes you may do so but your parent will be considered as an essensial occupier. If you intent to take a HDB loan, your parents must not have taken more than 1 HDB loan previously as HDB only allows a person to take a maximum of 2 HDB loans during their lifetime. Since you are below 35 years old and single, you are also not eligible for any grant. I am specialised in HDB transactions. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free and non obligatory discussion as I will also need to find out in details your other circumstances in order to advise further.

Hi,

1) When you put up an application to buy a resale flat with your parents as occupiers. You are considered to purchase under the Public Scheme.
2) You shall be the sole owner therefore you have to apply loan based on your income.
3) It will not affect your eligibility for the HDB loan because it is only you who are applying for the loan and had nothing to do with your parents.
4) You are not eligible for any grant because you have not reached 35 yrs old. Thus not eligible for Single Citizen Grant, EHG, and proximity grant.
5) The family grant is only provided for married or going to marry couples.

Hope the above answer your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
