Afternoon Jess,

Under current CEA ruling, agents can only advertise for the seller, after the seller have authorise the agent to advertise for the seller.
Hence, if the agent is representing the seller, you do not need to pay the agent commission. But it would be wise to let the agent know that you do not require his representation.
