Dear all

I will like to check if i currently own a HDB commercial property with my father . Can i still apply for a resale flat on my own.

I managed to get the intend to buy however if i really purchase a resale HDB unit in future, do i have to dispose the HDB commercial property. I will like to keep both

Yes there is no restirction for commercial property owner to purcahse HDB. However if you are applying for HDB loan or grant, some restrcitions apply such as you are only allowed to own 1 commercial property and the commercial property you own must be used solely for your own business purposes and you did not derive other income for other sources.
