Can somebody please explain what is meant by 'built-in'? (area per sqft). There appear to be many apartments where the total floor area advertized as 'built-in' includes patios, roof gardens etc. Surely these areas should not be including as 'built-in'? Very misleading.

Afternoon,

I'm not sure what's your perception of 'built-in' but the term means areas within the property that are usable by the owner, either directly or indirectly.

Okay, it's now clear - so this will include balcony space, roof garden etc. As you say, all areas that are used by the owner (inside & outside). Thanks
