Dear sir/mdm,
Depending on property type you are interested in, some owners may not keep the floor plans of their unit. Especially resale landed homes which could be developed back in the 1950s, most home owners may not have the floor plans for these units.
If it is a relatively new unit you are interested in, there will be higher chance that owners may retain the floor plans.

If you are referring to HDB, floor plans are easily available on their website at a fee of $5. Private properties especially landed are more tricky. There are some sites which offers free floor plans (Condo development) for download. Alternatively, before making the purchase, you should make it a point to ask for floor plans as a condition for signing the option as it is not mandatory for sellers to produced floorplan and they might have misplaced it themselves.
