Hougang Street 11 is an HDB street located in the HDB estate of the town of Hougang. Hougang is located in the North-Eastern Region of Singapore. The town is the most populous in the region, being home to approximately 222k residents , of which there are about 179.5k HDB residents living in the 54k flats managed by the Housing Development Board (HDB). Hougang, over the years has developed enough to become the largest HDB town in Singapore. Hougang is one of the prime residential location among the moss because of the luxuries the HDB flats and the condominiums the town has to provide. Most residents of Hougang are the previous settlers from the Teochew community at KampungPuggol who were relocated to Hougang.

There are about a total of 15 blocks of HDBs available in Hougang Street 11 with postal codes ranging from 530154 to 538748. The oldest of the flats in the area are constructed as recent as 1984 and the latest of developments took place in 1998. There are a total of 768 units. Hougang Street 11 provides a myriad of flat types and the most common ones are 3 rooms unit, 4 rooms unit, 5 rooms unit and also some executive and Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC) flats. The buses that run along these stops include bus 22, 24, 43, 45, 53, 53M, 58, 70, 70A, 70M, 76, 80, 80A, 81, 82, 101, 107, 107M, 113 and 113A. These buses can take one to any possible destination a resident might have.

Apart from that, the area is also served by quite a few MRT Stations, which makes public transportation even more convenient. The nearest stations are Bartley MRT Station (CC12), Lorong Chuan MRT Station (CC14) and Serangoon MRT Station (CC13). Also, private transportation was made easier due to the number of expressways nearby such as Lor Ah Soo, Upper Paya Lebar Rd, Upper Serangoon Viaduct, Boundary Rd, Hougang Ave 3 and the Yio Chu Kang Link.
