I have stayed in this project for almost a year. The place is well maintained with a resort feel vibes but at a high maintenance cost. The location is neither here or there ie no eateries / supermarket / mrt within 10 mins walk. Even if you drive, there are a few occasions I will get trap at the lorong M to get in / out whenever there is an inconsiderate driver refuse to give the right of way and the traffic will stay standstill. I decide not to buy this place after I stayed in this project after 3 month when the hype of the resort feel is over. At this price point I think there is more choices at Katong side.
We own a place here, bought before completion and could not believe our eyes when we collected the keys! (Btw, the property was TOP-ed near the end of 2015 and not 2014 as mentioned in the other review.)We already knew the location was fantastic. It is in a quiet neighbourhood yet within walking distance to eateries and bus stops. The park connector nearby takes you straight to East Coast Park, which makes it very easy and safe to exercise out in the open with fresh air. The resort also provide shuttle buses to the nearest train stations. What amazed us was the great job Far East did with the landscaping and layout. The whole place looks and feels like a Balinese resort, complete with huge sunbathing beds, an outdoor massage table, beautiful gym with a view, loads of outdoor sitting areas and a pool that winds through the resort. The best thing of all though was the spacious layout of the units. Unlike other new developments, the layout in The Seawind is very efficient. Balconies are a good size - not too big yet not so small as to be unusable. Perfect for patio dining. Bedrooms are squarish and big, the master can fit a full 2m length king bed. Bathrooms are beautifully finished in marble and spacious. And the wet and dry kitchen concept makes the whole place even more spacious and open yet keeps cooking odours from permeating the living areas. We could not be happier with our purchase!
The Seawind, located at 72 Lorong M Telok Kurau in Singapore, obtain T.O.P. (Temporary a Occupation Permit) on around April 2014. One can see that since then there have been activities of investors looking for tenant's on Property Guru portal. Seawind has been one of the favourite property for the east as an investment property for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons is what one can see of the Seawind floorplan. Efficient floorplan layouts allow for more living spaces and outdoor lifestyle with good size balconies. The Seawind is developed by established developer, Far East Organization, which coincidentally, also developed properties in the east, like The Cape Condo and Euhabitat, or what some would spell as Eu Habitat. The builder of The Seawind is Hexacon Construction. One of the distinctive feature that sets The Seawind apart from condos in the east is that it is Far East Organization's first freehold condo development that has a combination of various residential choices. - SOHO apartment, condominium apartment, townhouses and has a huge variety of leisure, dining and entertainment choices. Foreigners are eligible to buy the townhouses, which is getting more rare these days to find townhouses for sale that are eligible to foreigners.
