    Very disappointing Management

    Despite being a very beautiful condo with great facilities, the Management of this condo is unprofessional and making the resident's life horrible, Few examples: - the management doesn't answer emails unless they are escalated - even when they answer they don't care about what we say - there are paper-based forms for everything (to book the maintenance, to book the tennis court). Instead of using the technology to make our life easier they take out ceratin online services like the tennis reservation system which was on line and, without any explanations, it has been based on paper again so we need to go down to the management office to book everytime we want to play. Despite us asking to reinstate it, no answer has been given and the management is simply ignoring us. We have also asked to put certain forms (like the one to book the airconditioning maintenance) but nothing happens. - Other example, we were having a BBQ on saturday night and they switched the lights off in the BBQ area at 10PM... The location and the facilities are great but the life is miserable here....

    Just terrible

    The Seaview should be so good but it is a miserable and terrible place to live. It is falling to bits and is nick named "cone do" because there are so many cones placed where the wooden decking is rotting and coming away. The gardens are in terrible shape and they are forever cutting all the trees back to nothing. The management office is just appalling with rude arrogant service, security changes every six months and they apply rules that just do not exist. You must interact with them even though it is painful as the online booking system is broken indefinitely (they have no time line for fixing) We look forward to moving out to a more relaxing and enjoyable Condo where residents are treated as residents as inmates. I challenge anyone to book a BBQ or tennis court without getting angry and frustrated.

    Jaded tenant

    Like many other jaded tenants at the Ssaview we are outta here. Many are breaking their leases, but our 12 month tenancy is expiring and we've had enough of our unresponsive landlord who's unwilling to fix the leaking aircon,other interior defects and not to mention the plagues of ants in every room, the flies, plus the draconian security guards and management corp. rules..... LL's get real - the word is out. Don't expect tenants or prospective buyers to pay inflated prices for sub-standard stuff....

    jaded landlord

    finding it hard to find tenants these days due to competition.. either massive cut on yield or try to sell now and wait for ages just to get 1 viewing (who will promptly quote 20% below valuation).. getting worrisome as maintenance costs are piling up as everything is getting old old old.

    What a wonderful condo

    The moment you enter the main gate, you will be "wowed" by the sprawling 382,000sq ft condo with a plot ratio of only 2.1 compared to 2.8 for surrounding condos. Yes, the hardworking MCST had identified building defects on taking over and filed legal claims against the developer. Which condo of this size does not have defects? These are not crippling defects and the correct thing to do is to seek accountabilities then proceed with ratifications after legal claims. The SeaView condo is named after the former SeaView Hotel which occupied the site, not because there is full sea view for units in the condo. As the condo is at the city fringe, travel time to Suntec City Tower3 is 8 minutes by bus. Dakota station is 8 minutes away by bus. Amenities are excellent with Parkway Parade (Giant supermart), I12 Katong(FoodRepublic, MarketPlace and GV cinemas) 5 minutes away on foot. All the major local and foreign banks, dentist, doctor, TCMs, foodcenter, markets are within walking distances.

    Do Justice to The Sea View Please!

    Been staying here since TOP 2008. I must say seeing is believing what this beautiful condo is.. Justice to The Sea View that had been receiving many negative reviews. Residents staying here are truly enjoying the luxury and status in this generous landscaping ,well facilitated condo, resort style pool, excellent location in D15 amber road! Transportation is a thumbs up with direct buses to CBD,town, changi airport and city hall (10mins). Nearest MRT i suggest will be city hall (cos direct bus take 10mins to reach city hall that is central station that connect island wide. many buses take u to stations like paya lebar,eunos, aljunield, dakota within minutes too. Needless to mention abt the wonderful amenities all within stone throw... Parkway parade mall just opposite, (banks, cold storage, NTUC, giant hyper mart) . Katong /siglap eating paradise are round the corner and new katong mall that will be ready soon(there will be cineplex) Walking distance to east coast park where u find outdoor activities, eateries and 24hr fast food joints! What else can i ask for more staying here....................

    Seaview condo residents sue for $14 million

    Defects have allegedly plagued the estate since residents began moving in. In late 2009, building surveyors found at least 32 cases of defects in areas such as lift lobbies, the swimming pool, residential units and the basement car park. Floor traps and pipes in the kitchen were not installed properly, leading to food waste being stuck in the pipes, resulting in foul smells and flies in the units. Residents are suing the developer... just stay away from this condo

    Will value be affected?

    The press report on the defects at this condo has done damage to the future pricing of this project. Even if the MC wins the $14million law suit, how can we be sure if other hidden defects do not surface in the future. I am totally giving this project a miss.
