I live in the tallest block within Sky Terrace. While it is such a tall building, I like how it has been broken up into levels with terraced gardens. In fact, the entire project carefully uses landscaping to tone down the imposing concrete and glass facade. I’ve been living here for the past two years. I work on Orchard Road, which is just a 10-minute drive from here. There are retail stores and a hawker centre nearby.

Reminds me of NY
When I moved back to Singapore from New York, I missed the city a lot, and maybe more than that, my loft there for three years. When I saw loft-style apartments at Sky Terrace, I just had to rent one. The ceiling height is 5.4 metres, very rare especially for an HDB project. A lot of natural light comes into the house, and the owner has also built a furniture deck inside that works as a mini-office.

Wonderful views and easy access
I bought a four-bedroom flat at Sky Terrace at Dawson in 2017. The project is nicely spread out with plenty of areas for jogging or taking my dog for a walk. Tiong Bahry Plaza is not too far away. Even Marina Bay is just 15 minutes away. In fact, walking in and out of Sky Terrace is so pleasing because of the greenery that lines the walkways. The Queeenstown MRT station is a short stroll away.
