underrated :D
NEWest is srsly underrated. there's like a whole mall here with cafés, prata, bubble tea, minimart and a few nice eateries so lazy days don't req me to move much. never overly crowded unlike integrated devs with bigger malls. I can just come down in slippers, shorts and my SAF singlet for coffee! Condo facilities are decent too, especially the pool and jacuzzi after work. I'm a heavy sleeper and usually plugged into music so not sure about any noises to report. The convenience really suits my lifestyle. -

peaceful place
Moved to NEWest from Holland Village. Funny enough, I actually like how quiet the mall is. Some people say it's too empty but for me it's peaceful. I can sit downstairs with my laptop for an hour without fighting for seats, great for my productivity as I can't seem to work at home (bed distracts me). Fellow residents are generally cordial and everyone seems to mind their own business. Gym is small but good enough, swimming pool always clean whenever I use it. The only issue I had was some water seepage from the balcony after one heavy storm... got used to the AYE sound but it's constant so it's just a background hum that I got used to. -

Bought a unit at NEWest because I wanted to stay in a boutique condo instead of those mega ones. Daily life is really easy since food and small shops are a quick lift trip down. My kids also attend Chinese enrichment here so it's perfect and they can ownself go. Think the mall could really use a proper supermarket or bigger anchor tenant... still quite ulu. Bus stop just outside so not being near MRT isn't really a big issue for us. Definitely not for those expecting Orchard Road level of shopping. Just a humble estate with everyday essentials within rch. -

Next to AYE, be aware...
Residing in this condominium for nearly four years, I've cherished the expansive balconies on the second and fifth floors. However, the master bedroom's proximity to the AYE has been a source of constant noise due to inadequate window soundproofing. A significant concern arose when a flood cascaded from the fifth to the third floor via the lighting fixtures, undermining my sense of security. The recurring fear of flooding disrupts my sleep, especially during rainfall, a sentiment echoed by other residents facing similar issues. The inclusion of a private jacuzzi in the units facing the AYE is a significant plus point. -

Rare, under-rated gem
This place is nice and under-rated. As a mixed development, the mall underneath the condo provides the necessary amenities. The stack facing the landed properties is nice and breezy. More importantly, the new west coast MRT will be built near it. Having a 999 near a mrt station is rare. This condo will be very good for long term investment and stay. -

Too many issues
Apartments near the AYE are very noisy. Flooding and water seeping are recurrent. Rooftop drains frequently clogged by growing plant and water leaks through light holes and other possible areas. -

Unique combination of mixed development of shops on ground floor, cluster house like units on the second floor where the condo facilities are and a tower block with 2 bedders. -

Well Kept Estate - Great For Investment.
Visited a few times, found the Place are Clean and Bright. Very well maintain, sure visit again. -

Bad place to buy or stay
Unfriendly neighbours, the helpers here are so noisy always going around talking to each other. Very bad management, noisy interior, small rooms. Only pros, shops downstairs. -

950 year Lease Cluster, an underrated Jem in
Unrivalled by the East, NEWest is served by 2 Highways- AYE & West Coast, and plenty of retail shops at its doorsteps! The row that faces the landed terraces is quiet, serene & breezy all year round. -
