Rare Find
My family has lived here for close to 20 years and we are so comfortable in this estate. It has almost full condo facilties and more. The greenery, tranquility and spaciousness of this condominium is a rare find and the reason why most of the residents are not interested in an enbloc. This is THE place to live in, and it would definitely wow the expats once the Canadian International School is built nearby. -

no enbloc
extremely unlikely to go enbloc. Too much empty land for development close by. Unlikely developer would buy built up area over empty land. More importantly zero activity from sale committee. 12 months has passed, no word of 80% approval acquired so opportunity has been and gone. -

gem in the west
this condo is truly a gem - living at lakepoint has been a great experience! :) > within the condo itself, Lakepoint covers an amazing amount of space - allowing for walks, cycling, blading, etc within the condo itself even though there are public parks nearby too. > the houses are amazing and well-noted for their size and higher ceilings. its always rather breezy too and over the years, Lakepoint has proved resilient in being able to provide the full range of facilities and amenities that any condo could have - from BBQ pits, swimming pool, fitness corner, tennis, badminton and squash courts, soccer areas and more! > despite the perception that properties in the West are further away from the city, lakepoint provides the perfect balance btwn a suburb home atmostphere and is yet very easily accessible, being located right next to the Lakeside MRT station! it really doesnt take very long to get to the city etc at all! > > Lakeside is not overcrowded and yet it has full facilities from nearby markets as well as the nearby Jurong Point and Jurong East Shopping Centres. > It is also located next to the idyllic and picturesque Chinese Garden Lake with its jogging paths and parks. > The many attractions of Jurong are also very nearby such as the Science Centre, Bird Park and Discovery Centre. Schools and the two biggest universities - > NUS and NTU are also very close by and saves students a lot of time travelling. Time is similarly saved by professionals working in Biopolis, Science Park etc, JTC and the Tuas and Jurong Island industries. Do consider living here if you'd like to be part of a lovely, friendly condominium. Cheers. :) -
